Growing up, I always had a passion for animals. Since the early 90’s, I’ve kept many different species including good ol’ wild caught ball pythons. I took a break from animal husbandry when I enlisted in the US Navy as an Aviation Mechanic in 2011. In 2019, I decided to leave the Navy as I began to struggle with the effects of PTSD.
BZBP started in 2015 as a hobby that grew into a passion-driven business. Over the years, I’ve been mentored by some of the best people in the industry and have made some incredible friendships. This website is primarily a place for me to share what I’ve learned and experienced. I occasionally enjoy venturing into other species and as I do, their information will also be added here. I hope everyone can find something useful here.

I am currently a full-time student at Ball State University as a biology major with a concentration in wildlife biology and conservation
